Job summary

SAFE LINE ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL L.L.C is seeking a procurement professional in Dubai to source and procure electrical and industrial products, ensuring alignment with project requirements, quality standards, and cost objectives. The role involves selecting suppliers, negotiating terms, and coordinating RFQs and POs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement of electrical/industrial products.
• Good knowledge of electrical materials, industrial products, and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement software.
• UAE experience and knowledge of the local supplier market will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure electrical and industrial products in line with project requirements, quality standards, and cost objectives.
• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and process purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and required quality standards.
• Maintain supplier records, pricing data, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Monitor inventory requirements and support timely replenishment.
• Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and material availability.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approved budgets.
