Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of metal grades, sheet and section sizes, decorative finishes, and fabrication components.
• Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, cost comparison, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing/ERP systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills; UAE supplier market experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Source steel, stainless steel, aluminum, hardware, finishes, and other materials required for custom decorative metal fabrication projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities to confirm material grades, dimensions, quantities, and project requirements.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, availability, and delivery time.
• Negotiate prices and terms, prepare purchase orders, and follow up on deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and site teams to resolve material queries and identify suitable alternatives when needed.
• Check delivered materials against purchase orders and specifications and coordinate the resolution of shortages or quality issues.
• Maintain supplier records, procurement reports, and accurate purchasing documentation.
