Job summary

METAL FORMS LLC.- AJMAN is seeking a Procurement Engineer to source steel, stainless steel, aluminum, hardware and finishes for custom decorative metal fabrication projects in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will read fabrication drawings, review specifications, obtain supplier quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate with design, production and site teams to ensure timely supplies and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Procurement experience for steel or architectural metal fabrication.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and understand material specs.
• Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, cost comparison and follow-up.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing.
• Good communication and coordination; UAE supplier market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source steel, stainless steel, aluminum, hardware, finishes for metal fabrication.
• Review drawings, specs, and bills of quantities to confirm materials.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations on price, quality, availability, delivery.
• Negotiate prices and terms, prepare purchase orders, and follow up deliveries.
• Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to resolve material queries.
• Check delivered materials against orders and specs; manage shortages or issues.
• Maintain supplier records, procurement reports, and purchasing documentation.
