Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research for daily-use construction materials and consumables
• Identify and benchmark local suppliers, distributors, and traders
• Track price movements, availability, lead times, and delivery capabilities
• Maintain approved vendor lists and item-wise rate benchmarks
• Prepare price comparison sheets and vendor evaluation summaries
• Validate technical suitability and specifications of daily purchase items
• Support procurement teams with quick cost estimates and alternative sourcing options
• Assist in standardizing frequently used materials and specifications
• Coordinate with site teams, storekeepers, and procurement officers to capture daily requirements
• Support preparation of purchase requisitions and commercial justifications
• Maintain structured vendor databases, rate lists, and purchase history records
• Ensure documentation complies with procurement policies, controls, and audit requirements
