Key Responsibilities

• Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely manufacturing, dispatch, and delivery of civil construction materials
• Follow up with suppliers on production schedules, delivery timelines, and logistics coordination
• Coordinate with procurement teams on PO status, variations, and delivery priorities
• Track material movement and resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies
• Review and verify material submittals, technical datasheets, and compliance documentation
• Ensure materials conform to approved drawings, BOQs, project specifications, and authority requirements
• Coordinate with consultants for material approvals, inspections, and mock-ups
• Monitor sample approvals, test reports, and material certifications
• Liaise with site engineers, planning teams, and project managers to align deliveries with construction schedules
• Support site teams during material inspections, approvals, and handovers
• Address site queries related to material quality, alternatives, and technical clarifications
• Maintain detailed records of material approvals, delivery logs, submittals, and vendor correspondence
• Prepare material tracking reports and expediting status updates
• Ensure compliance with company quality, procurement, and audit standards

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 5-10 years of experience in material engineering, procurement expediting, or site coordination
• Strong exposure to civil construction materials including concrete, steel, formwork, finishing materials, and waterproofing systems
• Experience working with developers, main contractors, or PMC consultants
• UAE or GCC project experience preferred
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
• Familiarity with ERP and document control systems such as SAP, Oracle, Aconex, or Procore
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in fast-track project environments
