Job summary

Emirates Islamic Bank in the United Arab Emirates seeks a client-focused support officer to assist Relationship Managers and their clients with Basic Banking services, including transactions, fixed deposits, statements, and documentation.

You will coordinate with Operations, Compliance and other departments, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, maintain client records, and provide reliable service to help sustain a high level of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• 1-2 years banking experience, preferably in a customer care/service environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Basic Banking products & services and related processes.
• Good understanding of Compliance, Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering acts and standard procedures.
• Diligent with attention to detail and strong customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts and execute Basic Banking transactions (transfers, cheques, cash, deposits, withdrawals).
• Coordinate with Operations, Credit, Compliance and other departments to support Relationship Managers.
• Apply checks and controls per bank policies under RM supervision.
• Communicate with clients on minor operational matters and maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare basic documentation and keep client records up to date.
• Ensure complete and accurate information in client documentation before submission.
• Assist senior team members when required.
