Job summary

The AV Technician at KERZNER INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual systems and equipment throughout the property. You will support events, conferences, and daily operations by ensuring reliable performance of sound, lighting, projection, video conferencing, digital signage and other multimedia technologies.

You will work closely with the Events IT and Engineering teams to provide technical support, coordinate event requirements,

Qualifications

AV Technical Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge in operating a multi-input AV system (projectors, screens, etc.).
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in related field, preferably in hotels.
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with AV equipment setup, wiring, and signal routing.
Knowledge of lighting and audio equipment operation.
Good communication and customer service for guest-facing situations.

Responsibilities

Set up projectors, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, screens, cameras, and lighting.
Configure equipment per BEO or client instructions.
Test and operate equipment during rehearsals and events.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair AV systems as needed.
Manage equipment booking and tracking systems.
Train banquet staff on equipment use.
Check venue AV gear and plan upgrades when needed.
Assist guests during events.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
