Job summary

Atlantis The Royal, part of Kerzner International, seeks a Technician 2 (Audio Visual) to set up and dismantle AV equipment for conferences and events across the resort.

You will deliver technical services, perform preventive maintenance, monitor contractor setups to Atlantis standards, conduct DB level tests, and maintain a safe, well‑ordered work environment. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Audio Visual with event projection, lighting, and audio.
• Experience with distributed resort audio systems; QSC is an advantage.
• Experience as an event/conference technician.
• Experience in 5‑star hotels or recreational complexes.
• Proficient with professional digital audio mixing consoles.
• Fluent English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle Audio Visual equipment for events at Atlantis The Royal.
• Provide technical services; ensure equipment meets standards and SOPs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on resort Audio Visual equipment.
• Monitor external contractor setups to Atlantis standards.
• Carry out DB level tests on background music and provide weekly reports.
• Maintain a safe work environment and proper equipment condition.
• This position requires shift work.
