Azizi Developments seeks a Lead Precast Design Manager to lead the precast design team, fostering a high-performance environment and delivering innovative design solutions. You will oversee the full design lifecycle from concept to production drawings, ensuring compliance with project specs, codes, and client requirements while collaborating closely with PMs, structural engineers and construction teams.

Develop and implement robust design processes and workflows to optimize efficiency, minimize errors and ensure timely delivery of design documentation.
Conduct thorough design reviews and quality checks identifying and resolving potential design clashes or constructability issues before fabrication.
Manage design budgets and resource allocation ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising design integrity or project timelines.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in precast technology, materials and design software driving innovation and continuous improvement within the design department.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on precast design challenges offering solutions that enhance structural performance, durability and aesthetic appeal.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and client-specific requirements throughout the design process.
Mentor and develop junior designers nurturing their technical skills and professional growth to build a strong and capable design team for future projects.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in precast concrete design and manufacturing.
Proven track record of managing complex precast design projects from inception to completion.
Expert proficiency in precast design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, specific precast detailing software).
Deep understanding of precast concrete manufacturing processes, materials science, and construction methods.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse design professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other languages relevant to project locations is a plus.
