Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking a Structural Engineer with precast exposure to support the structural design, detailing, and site coordination of precast elements across our development portfolio.

You will work under the guidance of the Senior Structural Engineer – Precast to prepare calculations, check shop drawings, and coordinate with design, production, and construction teams to deliver safe, buildable precast solutions on landmark projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in precast concrete design and detailing.
• Apply relevant codes (ACI 318, PCI Design Handbook, Eurocode 2 / BS standards) and UAE requirements.
• Knowledge of precast production, transportation, and erection processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations and analyses for precast elements across production, transport, lifting, erection, and in-service stages.
• Check shop drawings and reinforcement/embed drawings; flag discrepancies for senior sign-off.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP, BIM, and precast production plant to resolve design queries.
• Support QA/QC during precast production and assist with site erection.
• Maintain design change logs, RFIs, and technical query trackers.

Structural Engineer with precast concrete exposure to support the structural design, detailing, and site coordination of precast elements across our development portfolio. Working under the guidance of our Senior Structural Engineer – Precast, you will

prepare calculations, check shop drawings, and coordinate with our design, production, and construction teams to help deliver safe, buildable, and code-compliant precast solutions on landmark projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural calculations and analysis for precast concrete elements — panels, hollow-core, double-tee, columns, beams, staircases, and connections — across production, transport, lifting, erection, and in-service stages, under senior review.
• Assist in the design of precast connections (welded, dowelled, corbel, grouted sleeve, bolted, post-tensioned) and lifting/handling checks.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP, BIM, and the precast production plant to resolve day-to-day design and interface queries.
• Check precast shop drawings, reinforcement/embed drawings, and erection drawings, flagging discrepancies for senior sign-off.
• Support QA/QC during precast production, and assist with technical queries during site erection.
• Apply relevant codes (ACI 318, PCI Design Handbook, Eurocode 2 / BS standards) and Dubai/UAE authority requirements under senior guidance.
• Maintain design change logs, RFIs, and technical query trackers.
