Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) seeks a Senior Production Manager for precast concrete. You will oversee the full production cycle from sourcing raw materials to dispatch, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and lead a skilled on-site team.

You will develop optimized schedules, manage equipment, collaborate with design and engineering, and drive cost control and continuous improvement to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential for a strong technical foundation.
• Proven expertise in precast concrete production processes, including formwork design, concrete mix design, curing techniques, and quality control.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications relevant to precast elements.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to optimize production workflows and reduce waste.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production challenges.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., PCI, ACI) pertaining to precast concrete production.
• Proficiency in using production planning software and standard office productivity suites.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control production costs, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions to achieve budgetary targets without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices within the precast production facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues or deviations promptly, minimizing downtime and impact on project timelines.
