Job summary

Accor hotel in Dubai is seeking a Pool Maintenance professional to oversee the engineering area related to the resort pool and fountain networks. You will implement preventive maintenance, manage chemicals, and lead Pool Attendants to ensure high standards daily.

The role requires attention to safety, accurate logging of pool balance, and coordination with the Pool Supervisor to keep facilities ready for guests at all times.

Responsibilities

• Orientation of Engineering Area
• Maintains the resort swimming pool and water fountain network in top condition
• Implements and follows a preventive maintenance program for pool equipment and machinery
• Adds chemicals as instructed by the pool supervisor
• Analyzes pool balance parameters daily and records results
• Maintains swimming pool interior lights
• Performs minor electrical maintenance on pool pump stations
• Updates the preventive maintenance program on time with the Pool Supervisor
• Follows all precautions when handling chemical products
• Leads Pool Attendants on site for efficient daily maintenance
• Ensures health and hygiene standards of the pool area at all times
• Keeps the work place and pump stations clean and safe for staff and guests
• Maintains good relations with the pool team to accommodate after-hours guest demands

Job Description

• Orientation of Engineering Area
• Maintains the resort swimming pool and water fountain network always at best conditions.
• Ensures the application and the execution of a good preventive maintenance program for related equipment and machineries.
• Add the chemicals as instructed by the pool supervisor.
• Carry out analysis of pool balance parameters daily and record them in the operational log sheets for reference of Pool supervisor.
• Is responsible for the maintenance of swimming pool interior lights.
• Is responsible for minor electrical maintenance of swimming pool pump stations.
• Timely updates the preventive maintenance program to the Pool supervisor.
• Use all necessary precautions regarding the manipulation of chemical products.
• Lead the Pool Attendants on site for an efficient pool maintenance daily basis.
• Ensures recommended health and hygiene conditions of swimming pool at all times.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the work place and pump stations ensures the self and environmental safety. Also ensures safety of Pool Attendants.
• Maintain good work relations with the pool team to cater to the off hours guest demands.
