Job summary

Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF) in the UAE seeks an experienced PMV Lead to manage the safe, reliable operation of all Plant, Machinery and Vehicles that support yard and project operations. You will head the PMV team, implement preventive maintenance, and drive asset performance.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, and strong coordination with Engineering, Projects, Procurement and QA/QC to ensure compliance with QHSE standards and efficient project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 12–15 years of relevant Plant, Machinery & Vehicle management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Oil & Gas, EPC, marine, shipyard, heavy engineering, or industrial environments.
• Professional training certifications in Plant Maintenance, Fleet Management, Asset Management or related disciplines are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all PMV operations to support yard activities and project execution.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor PMV activities in line with project schedules and operational requirements.
• Review requirements, estimate resources, and execute PMV activities within approved budgets.
• Coordinate equipment, machinery, vehicle, and tool requirements and arrange procurement or rental when required.
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions for PMV-related equipment, machinery, tools, and services.
• Review commercial enquiries and provide inputs for PMV scope, equipment selection, and cost estimates.
