Position Overview

Planning Manager - Project Scheduling and Program Controls leads the development, integration, and governance of complex project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery across multi-disciplinary infrastructure and construction programs. This role drives schedule integrity, baseline control, risk assessment, and executive-level reporting within structured project governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish planning standards, WBS and CBS structures, schedule coding, and governance procedures
• Develop and maintain Level 1 to Level 4 schedules and integrated master schedules
• Set and control schedule baselines and perform variance and trend analysis
• Conduct critical path, near-critical path, and scenario forecasting analysis
• Build and manage resource-loaded schedules and recommend recovery strategies
• Lead schedule risk assessments and quantify milestone impacts
• Perform time impact analysis and support delay and claims reviews
• Produce executive dashboards and decision-ready schedule reports
• Ensure schedule quality compliance including DCMA assessment standards
• Facilitate periodic schedule review meetings across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Mentor and lead planning teams while managing workload distribution
• Interface with clients and subcontractors to resolve dependencies and coordination challenges

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of progressive planning and scheduling experience on major projects
• At least 3 years in a managerial or lead planning capacity
• Expert proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling methodologies
• Strong analytical capability in forecasting, resource loading, and progress measurement
