Job summary

Micah Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Civil Planner / Cost Controller to join its project team. You will prepare baseline programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project, monitor progress and manage budgets.

The role requires 3–5 years UAE experience in civil construction, exposure to industrial and residential projects, and strong Excel skills. Applicants should hold Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Quantity Surveying qualifications.

A leading construction company is looking for an experienced Civil Planner / Cost Controller to join its growing project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules and recovery plans using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Monitor project progress, critical activities, delays, resources and procurement schedules
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow, cost-to-complete and budget-versus-actual reporting
• Prepare S-curves, manpower histograms, progress reports and management dashboards
• Support variation claims, EOT documentation, quantity monitoring and subcontractor performance tracking

Candidate Requirements

Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Quantity Surveying qualification

Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in civil construction projects

Mandatory exposure to both industrial and residential projects

Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project and Advanced Excel

Experience in planning, scheduling, project controls, cost monitoring and progress reporting

Knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, construction sequencing, resource planning and variation management
