Job summary

Deliveroo in Dubai is seeking a People Services Advisor to deliver frontline HR support for the UAE and Kuwait, in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the office and 2 remote. The role focuses on compliant and seamless employee experiences within local labour laws.

You will manage onboarding, visa support, data changes in Workday, payroll assistance, and official documentation, while driving process improvements and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR administration or People Services role (UAE preferred).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law under MOHRE with visa/sponsorship experience.
• Experience using Workday (or similar HRIS) for data management.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

People Services Advisor - Middle East - 6 month FTC

We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join our Dubai team. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). In this role, you'll help us deliver seamless, first-line HR support and administration to employees and managers across the UAE & Kuwait, ensuring an exceptional employee experience and compliance with local labour laws.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the People Services team. We own end-to-end HR operational delivery across the region, partnering with the business to streamline processes, maintain data integrity, and support our people through every stage of their lifecycle.

Here’s What Your Day-to-day Might Look Like

• Own First-Line HR Support: Act as the primary point of contact for regional HR enquiries, managing ticket escalations on our case management platform and resolving issues or directing to specialist teams.
• Deliver End-to-End Employee Lifecycle Operations: Manage onboarding (contracts, visa support, insurance), offboarding, and core data changes in Workday, while supporting monthly payroll preparation and issuing official documentation.
• Manage Regional Visa & Immigration Processes: Partner with immigration providers and government relations to execute visa applications, renewals, quota submissions, and compliance requirements (e.g., OHC medicals, unemployment insurance).
• Ensure Legal & Policy Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with UAE and Kuwait Labour Laws, company policies, and data protection standards across all administrative workflows.
• Drive Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to simplify HR procedures, leverage technology and AI to eliminate inefficiencies, and deliver key people analytics dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential

• Proven experience in an HR administration or People Services role, ideally within the UAE.
• Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law under MOHRE with hands-on experience managing regional visa and sponsorship processes.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing Workday (or similar enterprise HRIS) for data management and lifecycle processing.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to prioritize multi-channel queries effectively.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Professional Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
