Job summary

Deliveroo in Dubai is seeking a senior Recruiter to lead APAC business hiring for the UAE and Kuwait, partnering with stakeholders up to VP level on end-to-end recruitment. This role is strategic, not an executor, and focuses on building a recruiting muscle within a growing organisation, with collaboration across Europe and the UK.

You will mentor teammates, present hiring metrics and market insights, and drive a proactive, data-driven approach in a fast-paced startup environment.

Recruiter - APAC Business Hiring Team

What you’ll be working on:

• A lot of hiring! The APAC recruitment team supports business hiring for everything non-tech across 5 markets: Australia, UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The main markets you’ll be managing are UAE and Kuwait.
• You’ll partner with stakeholders up to the VP level on end‑to‑end recruitment and drive it rather than support it. We’ll be a strategic hiring partner to the business.
• Coaching hiring managers and XFN partners on long‑term hiring plans and serving as a brand ambassador for Deliveroo.
• You’ll be responsible for mentoring and elevating fellow members of the recruitment team.
• Present key hiring metrics, pipeline reporting, and market insights to the leadership team.
• This is not a role for an executor, this is a role for someone who is passionate about building a recruiting muscle within a growing organisation. From interview training and candidate onboarding to partnering with our teammates in Europe and the UK, you’ll be taking a holistic approach to recruitment not simply filling headcount.
• You’ll travel to Kuwait every quarter to partner closely with the local hiring managers and get to know the team.

Job requirements and things we’d like to see in you

• 3+ years of in‑house and agency recruitment experience
• You’re experienced in full lifecycle recruiting, such as researching, sourcing, talent mapping, designing processes, a working understanding of local employment laws, organisational structures, and salary trends.
• Proactivity. You identify gaps and develop innovative hiring solutions that can help our organisation and our management team scale a highly engaged and inclusive team.
• You leverage data to drive strategic hiring decisions and influence key stakeholders.
• People skills. You’re able to develop business cases and meet stakeholder requirements, while building and managing internal and external partnerships.
• You thrive in an environment of unrelenting pace. The ability to multitask, juggle a bunch of stuff at once but also, somehow manage to be super organised at the same time is key here.
• UAE and Kuwait talent market knowledge and understanding of local employment laws.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Fluency in Arabic language is a plus.
• This is a full‑time opportunity based in our Dubai office.
