Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a People Services Advisor for the Middle East on a 6-month FTC in Dubai. The role is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and covers UAE & Kuwait, delivering first-line HR support and administration across the employee lifecycle.

You will manage onboarding, visa support, insurance, and data changes in Workday, support monthly payroll, and ensure compliance with local labour laws while driving process improvements and analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR administration or People Services role, ideally within the UAE.
• Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law under MOHRE and visa/sponsorship processes.
• Experience using Workday or similar HRIS for data management and lifecycle processing.

In this role, you’ll help us deliver seamless, first-line HR support and administration to employees and managers across the UAE & Kuwait, ensuring an exceptional employee experience and compliance with local labour laws.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the People Services team. We own end-to-end HR operational delivery across the region, partnering with the business to streamline processes, maintain data integrity, and support our people through every stage of their lifecycle.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

• Own First-Line HR Support: Act as the primary point of contact for regional HR enquiries, managing ticket escalations on our case management platform and resolving issues or directing to specialist teams.

• Deliver End-to-End Employee Lifecycle Operations: Manage onboarding (contracts, visa support, insurance), offboarding, and core data changes in Workday, while supporting monthly payroll preparation and issuing official documentation.

• Manage Regional Visa & Immigration Processes: Partner with immigration providers and government relations to execute visa applications, renewals, quota submissions, and compliance requirements (e.g., OHC medicals, unemployment insurance).

• Ensure Legal & Policy Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with UAE and Kuwait Labour Laws, company policies, and data protection standards across all administrative workflows.

• Drive Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to simplify HR procedures, leverage technology and AI to eliminate inefficiencies, and deliver key people analytics dashboards to support data-driven decision‑making.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential

• Proven experience in an HR administration or People Services role, ideally within the UAE.

• Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law under MOHRE alongside hands‑on experience managing regional visa and sponsorship processes.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing Workday (or similar enterprise HRIS) for data management and lifecycle processing.

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to prioritize multi-channel queries effectively.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Professional Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
