Job summary

ALEC Holdings in Dubai seeks a People & Culture Officer to enhance compensation and benefits processes and foster a positive workplace across our UAE projects.

You will work with Payroll, Finance and HR colleagues to ensure accurate benefit administration, policy compliance and confidential handling of salary information, contributing to a supportive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 2+ years experience in HR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and processing approved salary, allowance and benefit information accurately and confidentially.
• Assist with administering assigned benefits including insurance, schooling, flights and mobile-related benefits in line with Company policy.
• Provide employees and managers with accurate guidance on applicable benefits, eligibility and processes.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, insurers, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate benefit administration.
• Maintain records, complete reconciliations and support audits and reporting relating to compensation and benefits.

Your Role

As a People & Culture Officer, you will

• Assist with maintaining and processing approved salary, allowance and benefit information accurately and confidentially.
• Assist with administering assigned benefits including insurance, schooling, flights and mobile-related benefits in line with Company policy.
• Assist with processing approved compensation and benefit changes arising from merit reviews, promotions and interna Provide routine employees and managers with accurate guidance on applicable benefits, eligibility and processes.
• Provide employees and managers with accurate guidance on applicable benefits, eligibility and processes.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, insurers, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate benefit administration.
• Maintain records, complete reconciliations and support audits and reporting relating to compensation and benefits.
• Identify recurring benefit queries and administration issues and recommend improvements.li>
• Support enhancement of benefit processes, employee communications and system functionality.
• Work collaboratively with other People & Culture functional teams, HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure seamless employee experience.
• Refer matters outside the role’s functional accountability to the appropriate specialist team while supporting effective handovers.
• Contribute to People & Culture projects, process improvements, reporting and governance activities relevant to the role.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Company policies, governance standards and applicable legislation.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of UAE employment law
• Experience working with P&C metrics and data
• Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
