Job summary

SO/ is seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to accurately process salaries, bonuses, deductions and overtime in line with UAE laws and company policies. You will collaborate with HR on time and attendance data and deliver timely payroll reports to management.

A high school diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred, along with at least 2 years of payroll experience (hospitality or service industry). Proficiency in Excel and strict confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or accounting, hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate issues for timely resolution.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate and process salaries, wages, bonuses, deductions and overtime.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management detailing salaries and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations and company policies.
• Manage tax, social security, pensions and other benefits deductions.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Ensure time and attendance records are integrated into payroll system.
• Process payroll adjustments and year-end payroll reports.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and confidentiality.
• Assist with audits by providing payroll documentation.
