Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking a detail-oriented HR Payroll Officer to manage payroll processing, HRIS maintenance, and compliance with UAE labor regulations. You will ensure payroll accuracy, maintain HRIS data, and verify onboarding/offboarding records.

The role requires hospitality experience, strong numerical skills, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office. The position is based in Dubai and demands meticulous attention to detail, robust organizational skills, and the ability to thrive

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR payroll processing and HRIS management in hospitality, F&B, or retail.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll regulations, and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in HR/payroll systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain and update the HRIS, ensuring accurate employee data for payroll, benefits, and deductions.
• Verify new joiners and leavers, ensuring proper documentation for payroll accuracy.
• Generate and review payroll reports, obtaining approvals before submission to Accounting Team.
• Conduct payroll reconciliation, including headcount validation, general ledger, and bank statements.
• Audit and process time, attendance, leave, and final settlements for departing employees.
• Maintain organized HR records, leave balances, and employee data accuracy.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Process final settlements for exiting employees, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments.
• Address employee inquiries related to attendance, payroll discrepancies, and HRIS issues.
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
