Job summary

Ali & Sons Holding LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accountant – Payroll to manage payroll accounting across multiple locations and entities, ensuring timely, accurate employee payments. The role includes journal entries, reconciliations, and collaboration with HR and Finance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce with at least 3 years of UAE payroll experience; Oracle Fusion/SAP experience is a plus. UAE labour law knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant payroll/accounting experience.
• Previous UAE experience is essential.
• Oracle Fusion/SAP experience is a plus.
• Banking transaction experience is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll in compliance with UAE Labour Law, regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and submit WPS files through authorized banks and coordinate salary payment requirements.
• Manage payroll activities across multiple locations and entities.
• Perform payroll accounting, including journal entries, general ledger postings, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Validate payroll elements, deductions, payroll comparisons, commissions, leave salary, and end of service benefits.
• Prepare salary-related information for back-charging to other Group companies, where applicable.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records, contracts, and amendments.
• Provide supporting documentation for ICV, internal, and external audits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related matters and ensure accurate employee cost accounting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager – Payroll Accounting & Employee Cost Control.
