Job summary

free jobss is seeking an experienced payroll specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for over 1,000 employees in the UAE. You will ensure timely salary disbursement through WPS, handle tax-like deductions, and maintain audit-ready records.

The role requires strong UAE labor law knowledge, proficiency with HRMS tools and Excel, and the ability to collaborate with the finance team on month-end activities. UAE-based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience with hands-on processing for 1,000+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of WPS file generation, submission, and issue resolution.
• Solid accounting background with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of UAE labor law related to payroll (gratuity, leave, end-of-service).
• Based in the UAE and available to join within one month.
• Proficient with payroll/HRMS software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process full payroll cycle monthly for 1,000+ employees.
• Generate and submit WPS files accurately and resolve rejections.
• Maintain payroll accuracy for joins, departures, transfers, and changes.
• Compute end-of-service benefits and gratuity per UAE law.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and support month-end/year-end closing.
• Handle payroll-related accounting entries—accruals, provisions, cost allocations.
• Resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain payroll records and audit-ready documentation.
• Stay updated on UAE labor law and WPS changes.
