Job summary

Grand Hyatt Dubai is seeking a dedicated pastry professional to assist the Pastry Chef in managing production across all pastry and bakery items. You will help ensure quality outputs for outlets and banquets in line with hotel standards and financial objectives.

The role requires a minimum 2 years as a Demi Chef de Partie or Commis in a large operation, with a strong emphasis on hygiene, safety, and creativity in presentation.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production with pastry specialization.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in larger operation.
• Strong practical, operational and administrative skills with creativity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Basic MS Office skills; Recipe Maintenance System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pastry Chef with managing production for all pastry and bakery products.
