Kempinski Hotel Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie Pastry to craft desserts and pastries to exact recipe specifications, maintaining station standards under the direction of the Executive Chef.

You will prepare in advance desserts and pastries and the materials and equipment for service, cook and plate according to the menu, and assemble high-visual desserts for la carte, buffet, or banquet service. The role requires 2+ years in a five-star pastry setting and strong baking knowledge.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years in a five-star international pastry role.
• Ability to read recipes and good knowledge of baking.
• Strong communication skills.
• Result & quality driven; entrepreneurial, leadership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Craft desserts and pastries to exact recipe specifications.
• Maintain station standards and assist the Chef de Partie with prep, plating, storing and serving under the Executive Chef.
• Prepare in advance desserts and pastries and the materials/equipment needed for service.
• Cook and plate desserts and pastries according to the restaurant's menu.
• Assemble and plate desserts for la carte, buffets or banquets with high visual appeal.
• Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment.
• Clean and reset the working area.
• Assemble and prepare ingredients (mis-en-place).
• Assist with receiving and storing of goods; maintain storage areas.
• Enforce cost-saving measures and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Prepare kitchen equipment for use.
