Job summary

Le Méridien Dubai invites applications for a Kitchen Crew member to support daily food preparation and cooking across all stations. You will portion, chop, and store ingredients; wash fruits and vegetables; and ensure proper cooking temperatures and presentation according to recipes.

Working in our busy kitchen, you ensure safety and cleanliness, operate standard kitchen equipment, and follow Marriott safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen or food service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if cooked sufficiently and monitor quality.
• Maintain clean and organized workstation; follow safety and security policies.
