Job summary

Al Bandar Rotana & Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in Dubai. You will handle daily food preparation, support senior chefs, follow menu specifications and ensure hygiene and quality across sections.

You will manage mis-en-place, assist with stock control and contribute to buffet and event setups, working in a multicultural environment with a focus on guest satisfaction and culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and previous experiences in quality establishments along with good culinary skills.
• The ability to communicate well in English and a proven track of food preparation, presentation and preservation knowledge is an essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation and duties to meet standards.
• Support Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in daily operations.
• Follow menu specifications and maintain hygienic work areas.
• Monitor stock and food costs within your section.
• Prepare mis-en-place and food production across main and satellite kitchens.
• Lead subordinates and participate in buffets and special functions.
• Coordinate with other sections on waste and cost control.
