Job summary

King’s College Hospital London Dubai is seeking a Lead Nurse for the OPD Institute to provide expert clinical leadership and operational oversight across outpatient services. You will report to the Institute Clinical Director and work with the Practice Manager to ensure safe, high-quality patient-centered care aligned with DHA requirements.

Qualifications

• 7 years post-registration nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for orthopedic nursing staff
• Lead the implementation of orthopedic specific protocols and guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic patients
• Educate patients and families on orthopedic conditions, treatments and post-operative care
• Orient, mentor, and train new orthopedic nursing staff
• Identify educational staff needs and develop training programs
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in emergency drills and hospital governance activities
• Maintain required competencies and licences and adhere to scope of practice
