Job summary

Amazon Inc. in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Operations Supervisor (UAE National only) to lead shift operations at a fulfillment center, focusing on safety, efficiency, and order accuracy.

You will coach and manage Associates, review operational metrics, adjust labor allocation, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other functions to solve issues and improve processes, safety, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and able to follow directions in English.
• Experience in a logistics/operations environment is preferred.
• Ability to take direction in English and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

A day in the life

Your role centers on leading shift operations at one of our fulfillment centers, sorting or delivery stations. You'll start your shift by reviewing operational metrics and team assignments, then move through your work area connecting with your team members and identifying opportunities to enhance safety and efficiency. Throughout the day, you'll make real-time decisions about labor allocation, troubleshoot operational challenges, and collaborate with colleagues across different functions to solve problems. You might spend time coaching an associate on a new process, analyzing data to optimize workflow, or working with maintenance and quality teams to address equipment or process issues.

Required qualifications

• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
• High School diploma
• Experience in a logistics/operations environment
