The role requires 8-10 years in modern manufacturing, with CNC machining experience and strong technical flair in electromechanical systems. Excellent organization and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in a contemporary manufacturing environment, including planning and quality.
• CNC Machining experience.
• Technical skills involving design and assembly of electromechanical equipment, fabrication, and industrial processes.
• Outstanding organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to supervisors in direct manufacturing of products.
• Coordinate and evaluate units to maximize throughput and control operating expenses.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and management reporting for the area.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and corrective actions as needed.
• Manage expenditures to meet budgeted targets and drive cost improvements.

Manages and supports supervisors in the direct manufacturing of products Responsible for overall direction coordination and evaluation of those units Responsible for organizing and directing a team approach among direct reports to maximize throughput improve manufacturing products in a state of control and to control operating expenses Responsible for developing a responsive flexible manufacturing operation to meet the changing demands of our customer base FN-81 Rev 1 0 With the assistance of quality control management quality control standards are established throughout the entire manufacturing process by developing or revising standard operating procedures to ensure consistent products Reviews and analyzes production remakes and customer complaints to determine the cause of non conformance correct action needed and ensures appropriate production personnel are trained in preventative actions Develop and or monitor Key Performance Indicators and ensure adequate management reporting on the performance of the area Manage expenditure to achieve budgeted targets Ensure production is run efficiently waste is kept to a minimum and equipment is maintained to company standards Manage cost improvement initiatives to achieve on-going operational cost optimization Interacts with other managers and subordinates on continuous improvement of processes and employee performance Accountable quality of products subordinates behavior and performance and make sound decisions concerning production quality and inter-personal relations on a multi-shift basis.
