Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs in UAE seeks a hands-on Production Planner to plan and control production schedules based on capacity and resources, establishing standard man-hours for different panel types and production stages.

You will verify BOMs and material availability before releasing Work Orders, lead shop-floor meetings, and submit weekly performance reports to management while ensuring ISO 9001 process compliance. Fluent English and strong Excel skills are mandatory.

• Maintain cost control, safety, housekeeping and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Ensure ERP systems accuracy and material flow from stores to production.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and control production schedules based on available capacity and resources Calculate delivery dates for Work Orders based on production capacity and standard working hours Establish and maintain standard man-hours for different panel types and production stages Verify drawings BOMs and material availability before releasing Work Orders Implement and manage shop-floor control systems job cards production boards and quality checkpoints Conduct daily production meetings and submit weekly performance reports to management Manage material flow Stores reorder levels kit staging and material shortage escalation Lead train and manage supervisors and leadmen with clear performance targets Maintain factory cost control safety housekeeping and ISO 9001 process compliance Spend a minimum of 60 of working hours on the shop floor Strong hands-on experience in production planning and control. Knowledge of capacity modelling, standard time setting, constraint-based scheduling and material planning. Ability to read GA drawings, single-line diagrams and BOMs. Strong Excel skills. Fluent English communication is mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable managing operations directly from the shop floor. Experience with ERP systems such as ERPNext, SAP or Odoo is desirable. Lean, Six Sigma or Theory of Constraints experience is an advantage. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
