Job summary

RAKGAS in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to oversee daily fuel distribution, storage, loading, transportation and delivery activities. You will liaise with transporters, terminals and customers to ensure safety, efficiency and on-time performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in fuel logistics, strong inventory control, and good communication skills to support HSSE compliance and reporting. UAE-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, business admin, engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in fuel distribution, petroleum logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of fuel distribution, fleet planning, inventory control and HSSE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fuel distribution and transportation activities.
• Plan and monitor vehicle dispatch schedules, delivery routes and resources.
• Liaise with transporters, terminals, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports and maintain KPIs.

Job description

To coordinate and oversee daily fuel distribution operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely receipt, storage, loading, transportation, and delivery of petroleum products while maintaining compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and HSSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics

• Coordinate daily fuel distribution and transportation activities.
• Plan and monitor vehicle dispatch schedules, delivery routes, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with transporters, terminals, suppliers, and customers to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Optimize fleet utilization and transportation resources.
• Support loading, unloading, and fuel transfer operations.

Inventory & Quality Control

• Perform stock reconciliations and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure proper documentation of product receipts, transfers, and deliveries.
• Monitor fuel quality throughout storage, transportation, and delivery processes.

HSSE Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company HSSE policies and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Promote safe fuel handling and transportation practices.
• Report and elevate incidents, spills, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Support the achievement of safety and operational excellence objectives.

Customer Service & Reporting

• Ensure customer delivery requirements are met safely and efficiently.
• Address operational and service-related concerns promptly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Monitor operational KPIs and maintain accurate logistics records.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in fuel distribution, petroleum logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
