Job summary

iCademy Middle East seeks a Vice Principal & Head of the High School Department to lead the online High School (Grades 9–12) and to supervise teaching, assessment, wellbeing, and staff performance. The role reports to the Head of School/Principal and requires strong academic leadership within an online learning environment.

The position emphasizes strategic and day-to-day leadership, KHDA alignment, and collaboration with teachers, advisors, and support services to ensure a high-quality online

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education required; Master's preferred.
• Valid teaching qualification/license expected.
• 8–10 years of teaching experience, preferably in High School/secondary.
• Minimum 5 years in senior academic leadership or equivalent.
• Experience in online/virtual/digital education.
• Knowledge of UAE KHDA requirements desirable.
• Experience leading remote/online teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic leadership for the High School Department (Grades 9–12).
• Monitor student progress, achievement, and interventions.
• Lead curriculum planning and assessment in online classrooms.
• Support online teaching quality and staff development.
• Collaborate with Advisors, Coaches, and Support teams for student wellbeing.
• Represent the school in leadership and policy initiatives.
