Key Responsibilities

• Support the Principal in upholding the school's vision, mission, academic direction, and improvement priorities
• Contribute to strategic leadership as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
• Drive school improvement across teaching, learning, assessment, student outcomes, and staff performance
• Supervise instructional programs by reviewing lesson plans, observing classes, and guiding effective teaching practices
• Support implementation of national curriculum requirements, assessment standards, and certification expectations across school phases
• Promote academic excellence, holistic education, enrichment activities, and student‑centered learning
• Ensure all students are supervised in a safe, disciplined, and supportive school environment
• Maintain effective discipline and attendance systems aligned with school values and regulatory expectations
• Contribute to self‑evaluation, school improvement planning, and quality assurance of teaching and learning
• Prepare supporting documents and evidence for KHDA inspections, audits, governing body reviews, and DSIB requirements
• Work with curriculum and assessment teams to review data triangulation, progress, attainment, and performance indicators
• Support leadership development, staff performance management, teacher training, and continuous professional development
• Promote UAE culture in line with National Agenda expectations and school regulatory guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality of school records and exercise professional discretion in all leadership matters

Ideal Profile

• Master's degree in Education or a related field is required
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience in education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an education leadership role in a CBSE curriculum school
• Previous experience leading the secondary wing of a CBSE school will be preferred
• Strong UAE school experience with sound knowledge of DSIB inspection frameworks
• Proven ability to develop teachers' skills through school improvement planning and CPD programs
• Strong background in learning and development training, live workshops, online workshops, and staff capability building
• Comprehensive knowledge of best practice pedagogy, teaching quality, assessment systems, and student progress monitoring
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, student wellbeing, safeguarding, and ethical school leadership
• Strong decision‑making, team‑building, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution‑focused in high‑pressure situations
• Excellent command of English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
