Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking a Crewing Officer – Offshore & Marine to join our client’s Abu Dhabi-based marine operations. This role coordinates offshore crewing for survey, diving and subsea personnel, ensuring mobilization, certifications, travel and workforce readiness in line with regulatory requirements.

You will work with the Crewing Team Leader, vessel owners, logistics providers, and offshore personnel to deploy crews efficiently across UAE campaigns, maintaining records and supporting

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in marine, offshore, or oil & gas crewing coordination.
• Experience with offshore crew mobilization, certification management, travel coordination and personnel logistics.
• Knowledge of STCW requirements, MLC 2006 and client compliance.
• Experience coordinating with vessel owners, manning agencies, offshore personnel and immigration authorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mobilization/demobilization of offshore personnel per project schedules.
• Monitor certification validity (STCW, IMCA, ADNOC, offshore medicals, visas, passports).
• Prepare crew documentation for flag/port states, immigration, and vessel onboarding.
• Arrange crew travel, accommodation, airport transfers, and port transport with logistics providers.
• Maintain crew records in crewing management systems; update qualifications and rotations.
• Monitor rotation schedules and flag potential risks to Crewing Team Leader.
• Liaise with vessel owners, third-party operators to coordinate crew changes and approvals.
• Track third-party vessel crew certification and client approvals.
• Prepare crew lists, manning documentation, flag state crew agreements, and support records for mobilizations.
• Assist onboarding of new offshore personnel and verify qualifications and medical fitness.
• Support crewing reports, manpower forecasts, rotation planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
