Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking a Logistics Coordinator - Offshore & Subsea to support offshore projects from Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves coordinating day-to-day logistics for equipment, materials and personnel across yards, ports and offshore locations.

You will manage import/export documentation, liaise with freight forwarders and authorities, track movements and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting mobilisations and demobilisations of offshore assets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of logistics coordination experience within marine, offshore, subsea, or oil & gas.
• Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation planning, and offshore logistics operations.
• Experience coordinating offshore mobilisations, vessel loadouts, equipment transfers, and project logistics activities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics tracking systems or ERP platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills with vendors, freight forwarders, customs authorities, offshore personnel and project teams.
• Experience supporting offshore projects for ADNOC or regional operators is desirable.
• IATA and/or IMDG Dangerous Goods Awareness Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation of equipment, materials and assets between yards, jetties and offshore locations to meet project schedules.
• Manage import/export docs, customs clearance, bills of lading and freight forwarding activities.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, transport contractors, shipping lines and authorities to monitor shipments.
• Track movements and maintain logistics records, schedules and KPI reports for stakeholders.
• Support offshore mobilisation/demobilisation by coordinating vessel loadouts and transport schedules.
• Coordinate Dangerous Goods documentation and regulatory compliance for hazardous materials.
• Maintain shipment trackers, inventory movement records and status updates for management.
• Arrange travel, accommodation and transfers for offshore personnel ensuring timely mobilization.
• Identify risks and delays, escalating issues and supporting mitigation plans.
• Assist with cost control and process optimisation across offshore operations.
