Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking an Operations Engineer – Offshore & Subsea to join our client’s Abu Dhabi-based offshore operations team. This permanent, office-based role involves regular offshore travel for the planning, coordination and execution of offshore survey and subsea operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Marine/Mechanical/Ocean Engineering and 5–9 years in offshore operations, with strong planning, risk management and HSE focus. ADNOC projects exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Mechanical/Subsea/Ocean engineering or related field.
• 5–9 years in offshore operations, marine, subsea projects or survey operations.
• Experience with mobilisations, SIMOPS, MoC and PTW processes.
• Knowledge of offshore survey and subsea construction is highly desirable.
• Proven coordination and multi-stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of offshore campaigns, schedules and resources.
• Develop and maintain procedures, risk assessments, lift plans and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate with project engineers, vessel teams, logistics and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and support corrective actions.
• Contribute to pre-mobilisation documentation and operational readiness.
• Interface with clients during campaigns and provide progress updates.
• Support continuous improvement across offshore operations.
