Job summary

KBR is hiring a Specialist Procurement – Engineer for an Offshore Island project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on timely procurement, expediting vendor activities, and coordinating with suppliers to meet critical offshore milestones.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in oil and gas procurement, including long‑lead equipment and FEED/EPC exposure. Based in Abu Dhabi with relocation considerations, the role requires leading cross‑functional teams and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas procurement, with offshore exposure.
Experience on mega FEED/EPC projects (>US$1B) preferred.
Minimum 5+ years on ADNOC Offshore Projects is highly desirable.
Strong expediting, vendor coordination, and logistics skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a MUST.

Responsibilities

Review and expedite purchase orders, contracts and specs for offshore materials.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and internal teams; lead regular progress meetings.
Plan and manage FATs, inspections, and material releases; track delivery milestones.
Prepare procurement status reports and flag risks to schedules and quality.
Ensure compliance with offshore standards (API, ASME, ISO, NORSOK) and HSE requirements.
