Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Lead Procurement Engineer for an Offshore Water Injection Project in Abu Dhabi. The role drives procurement strategies, supplier engagement, and contract negotiations to meet project milestones and budget constraints.

Ideal candidates will have 15–18+ years in procurement within Oil & Gas EPC or offshore settings, with strong knowledge of international procurement practices and contract management. Bachelor’s degree required; professional certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; professional procurement certifications are advantageous.
• Experience leading procurement activities and cross-functional collaboration in Oil & Gas/EPC offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contracting, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for major offshore water injection equipment and bulk materials.
• Prepare procurement plans, sourcing strategies, and purchasing schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, logistics, and QA/QC teams.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and supplier performance.
• Expedite, track, and report procurement progress against milestones.
