Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Hook Up Engineer to apply conceptual knowledge of Hook Up with moderate guidance, solving straightforward problems and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. You will analyze solutions using standard procedures and ensure alignment with project schedules and safety guidelines.

In this role you will read drawings, review scope, coordinate with contractors, and deliver hook-up activities across onshore/offshore locations while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of offshore hook-up experience in EPCI.
• Strong knowledge of API, ASME, IEC, NEC standards.
• Excellent leadership, PM, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement the Company’s Health Safety Environmental and Quality Policy and the arrangements described in the Company Management System.
• Review drawings for constructability and identify issues; coordinate resolution.
• Develop and issue final Hook-up construction work packs and monitor scope changes.
• Coordinate materials with load-out plans and ensure timely delivery of documentation, fabrication, materials, personnel and vendors.
