Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Principal Hook Up Engineer to resolve complex offshore hook‑up and commissioning challenges. The role leads strategies, coordinates with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, on‑time delivery within budget.

You will review critical deliverables, conduct HAZID/SIMOPS, manage budgets, and mentor project teams. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 15+ years in EPCI are required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years in EPCI with hook-up/commissioning.
• Proven ability to lead complex offshore projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hook-up strategies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and internal teams to define requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with standards during hook-up and commissioning.
• Conduct inspections, HAZID and SIMOPS to manage risks.
• Review budgets, manage changes, and oversee offshore mobilisation.
