Job summary

Black & Grey HR seeks a Crewing Officer – Offshore & Marine to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role is office-based with occasional port and vessel visits to support crew embarkation and mobilization.

You will coordinate offshore crew for survey, diving, subsea and marine projects, ensuring timely mobilization, certifications, travel, and workforce readiness with strict compliance. UAE-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in marine, offshore, or oil & gas crewing coordination.
• Experience working for Subsea projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore crew mobilization, certification management, travel coordination, and personnel logistics.
• Working knowledge of STCW requirements, MLC 2006, offshore crewing practices, and client compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of offshore personnel per project schedules and requirements.
• Monitor crew certification validity and approvals to ensure compliance before deployment.
• Prepare and submit crew documentation for flag state, port state, immigration, client approvals, and onboarding.
• Arrange crew travel, accommodation, and transfers with logistics providers.
• Maintain crew records in crewing management system and track rotations, availability, and records.
• Track rotation schedules and identify upcoming manning requirements and expiries, escalating as needed.
• Liaise with vessel owners and third-party operators for crew changes and approvals.
• Prepare crew lists and supporting records for vessel mobilizations and offshore campaigns.
• Support onboarding of new offshore personnel verifying qualifications and medical fitness.
• Assist with crewing reports, manpower forecasts, and rotation planning.
