Royal Health Group is seeking a Nurse Educator to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff in our UAE facilities. The role emphasizes maintaining clinical competence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing; Master’s preferred.
  • Active nursing license valid for UAE or eligible for licensure.
  • Certification in Nursing Education is a plus.
  • BLS; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver orientation programs for newly hired staff.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct clinical training sessions and continuing education.
  • Assess learning needs and design educational interventions.
  • Monitor staff competency through assessments and observations.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Develop educational materials, guidelines and competency checklists.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff.
  • Maintain training records and certifications.

Job description

Nurse Educator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff. The role ensures that nurses maintain clinical competence, comply with healthcare regulations, and deliver high-quality patient care. The Nurse Educator supports professional development, orientation programs, competency assessments, and continuous learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver orientation programs for newly hired nursing staff.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct clinical training sessions, workshops, and continuing education programs.
  • Assess the learning needs of nursing staff and design appropriate educational interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff competency through assessments, observations, and skills validation.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Develop educational materials, guidelines, and clinical competency checklists.
  • Support evidence-based nursing practice and promote quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional guidance to nurses and healthcare staff.
  • Maintain records of training activities, certifications, and competency assessments.
  • Participate in policy development and clinical practice improvements.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and enhance staff performance.
  • Stay updated with current nursing practices, healthcare trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's Degree in Nursing Education is preferred).
  • Valid DOH/DHA/MOH nursing license or eligibility.
  • Certification in Nursing Education is an advantage.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in staff education, clinical training, or nursing instruction preferred.
  • Experience in hospital, rehabilitation, psychiatric, or healthcare settings is an advantage.
