Job summary

Hyde in Dubai is seeking an experienced Night Manager to lead overnight hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, security, and smooth running of the night shift.

As the senior on duty, you will manage the Front Office and Night team, oversee nightly audit and revenue reconciliation, handle guest inquiries, and coordinate emergencies. The role requires strong leadership and English communication, familiarity with Opera PMS, and the ability to work a rotating overnight schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a night management or supervisory role within hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and support staff.
• Exceptional guest service orientation with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Advanced proficiency with property management systems (such as Opera), Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Front Office and Night team during overnight operations.
• Ensure the smooth running of the hotel whilst acting as the Manager on Duty.
• Complete and oversee the nightly audit and revenue reconciliation processes.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and escalations professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain the safety and security of guests, team members, and property.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies and incidents when required.
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold service standards.
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Finance, Engineering, and Revenue Management.
• Manage night shift staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Conduct regular property inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Identify revenue optimisation opportunities and support upselling initiatives.
• Provide coaching, support, and feedback to night team members.
• Prepare shift reports and handover documentation.
