Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical school.
• Completion of a structured specialty training program or board certification.
• Postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS/DNB is generally required.
• Eligibility for DOH Abu Dhabi license is mandatory.
• Mandatory verification of documents via PSV.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance and ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Supervise junior medical staff and provide training.
• Lead ward rounds; manage inpatient and outpatient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Document clinical information accurately and comply with policies.
• Engage in quality improvement and audits.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families; obtain informed consent.
