Job summary

SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. seeks a Specialist Physician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care and to supervise junior medical staff.

The post holder will contribute to performance improvement, participate in meetings, and uphold hospital policies and procedures. Under supervision of the Consultant Physician, the Specialist will diagnose, treat, and coordinate care, lead rounds, ensure accurate documentation, and support multi-disciplinary planning.

Qualifications

• Tier 1: No additional experience required post board certification.
• Tier 2: At least 2 years of clinical experience post qualification in internationally accredited institute.
• Tier 3: At least 3 years clinical experience post qualification in internationally accredited institute.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and treats patients under supervision.
• Supervises junior medical staff and shares responsibility for their care.
• Leads ward rounds and reassesses inpatients and outpatients regularly.
• Ensures informed consent and prepares patients for procedures.
• Participates in out-of-hours on-call coverage on a rotation.
• Collaborates with other specialties and supports quality improvement efforts.
