The post holder will lead clinical governance, supervise junior medical staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives across inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities include on-call coverage, ward rounds, multidisciplinary collaboration, accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with DOH policies and SEHA procedures.

Qualifikationen

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical school.
• Structured specialty training program (e.g., North American/European Board Certification or DOH Tier 1/2 country qualification).
• Postgraduate qualification such as MD, MS, or DNB preferred.
• DOH license eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi is mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care in the specialty.
• Conduct patient examinations, histories, tests, prescriptions, and treatment plans including ward rounds.
• Oversee junior medical staff and participate in their instruction and supervision.
• Liaise with other medical specialties and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Provide on-call coverage on a rotational basis including evenings/nights/weekends/public holidays.
• Document clinical information accurately and comply with DOH and SEHA policies and infection control standards.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate clinical information to patients and families with empathy and clarity.
