Overview – Aldar Education is seeking an experienced Music Teacher for a Full Time, on-site role at Al Ain British Academy in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The position requires strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and experience teaching Music within an English Curriculum setting. The successful candidate will plan engaging lessons, use assessment and performance data to support progress across the ability range, and contribute to curriculum development and the wider educational life of the school.

• Liaise with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists and other professionals when required.
• Contribute to school improvement and curriculum priorities.
• Undertake other appropriate duties assigned by the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor 's Degree in a related subject.
• PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Music Teacher in the English Curriculum.
• Secure knowledge of teaching the English National Curriculum and GCSE.
• Experience teaching students for whom English is not their first language is advantageous.
• Experience working in more than one international school is required by the source.
