Job summary

Aldar Education is hiring a Music Teacher for Al Ain British Academy to deliver lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum. The role is on-site in Al Ain, UAE, with responsibilities spanning lesson planning, assessment, and curriculum development to support student progress.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching music within an English curriculum setting, plus a strong commitment to safeguarding and a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related subject is required.
• PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive learning environment that supports high-quality classroom practice.
• Establish clear teaching and learning objectives.
• Plan and deliver structured lessons and activities that maintain pace, engagement and appropriate academic challenge.
• Identify SEN, EAL and gifted and talented students and address their needs through effective differentiation.
• Use assessment for learning to monitor understanding and guide teaching.
• Apply performance data to planning and differentiated instruction.
• Maintain discipline and prepare informative reports to parents.
