Job summary

Sheraton Abu Dhabi is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage end-to-end purchasing activities for food and beverage, including supplier relations and cost control. The role supports the Executive Chef and ensures timely deliveries and accurate invoicing.

Responsibilities include inventory management, budgeting, reporting, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards in line with brand guidelines. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in purchasing may be accepted.
• Experience in purchasing processes, invoicing, and supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost controls.
• Ability to prepare reports and analyze data for decision making.
• Familiarity with food & beverage purchasing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing processes and vendor relationships across departments.
• Verify invoices against deliveries; ensure quantity, price, and specs.
• Support Executive Chef with food and beverage purchasing to control costs.
• Maintain inventory controls, rotations, and sanitation standards.
• Prepare cost analyses, menus, and budget reports as required.
• Coordinate with kitchen, management and vendors for timely deliveries.
